Notre Dame de Paris as the 'World Ambassador of Gothic Cathedrals.

 


Cite Island with one of the flagship facility of Paris - Notre Dame. And here are the Polish accents too. Starting from the Henryk Andegaweński (Henri de Valois, the king of Poland and France) oath of Pacta Conventa, through the first meeting by biggest Polish poet Adam Mickiewicz with mystic Andrzej Towiański and commemorates the anniversary of the millennium of Poland baptism in 1966, on the visit of Pope John Paul II in this place ending.

Victor Hugo was just twenty eight years old when he wrote his novel: Notre Dame de Paris. Set in the medieval period, it tells the story of the deformed Quasimodo, ward of the cathedral, and his ill-fated love for the beautiful Gypsy dancer, Esmeralda.
